Fabulous Jewelry Giveaway!

I’m so excited to (finally) show you the ADORABLE bracelet my husband had made for me for Mother’s Day!

Notice my proud, happy face. Notice my bored German Shepherd.

What do German Shepherds know about jewelry, anyway?

You can click to have a closer look if you like.

Pretty bracelet, huh??? I just LOVE having something to remind me of the kids! (I have kids, right?)

Is that not adorable? My son’s birth date is in March. My daughter’s is in October. It worked out that their stones ended up being blue for boys (aquamarine) and pink for girls (pink topaz). Pretty great, n’est-ce pas?

I sent my dear husband an e-mail and said: I LOVE Linda’s Mother’s bracelets, and this is what I want for Mother’s Day. What a surprise, when I magically got JUST WHAT I WANTED!!! (It really is OK to spell it out for them! Sometimes, they really appreciate it, in fact!)

Wouldn’t you like one like one with YOUR kids’ birthstones on it? (It’s called a Mother’s Bracelet, by the way. Necklaces are also available, as well. )

Or…how about a new piece of jewelry to light up that new outfit you bought for the summer? Wouldn’t that be nice…just to give it that PIZZAZZ you know that it still needs?

Have I got de place for YOU, sistah!

My friend Linda/MomPotter has this jewelry studio: Ocean Breeze, that she operates out of her Etsy store, and I am telling you what: she has JUST the thing, that will bring your summer the sparkle it needs!!!

(Mother’s bracelets and necklaces are only the start! I love how so many of Linda’s creations remind me of the ocean, and the beach! And she has lots of autumn-y colors, too, which are colors that I often dress in. But that’s just what has caught MY fancy. Wait till you see what she has for YOU!)

I have two links to show you: Linda’s Ocean Breeze studio, and her second studio, called Ocean Breeze Design. In regard to the difference between the two shops, says Linda,

” It has always been my goal to keep my prices in a range that people can afford and still offer a quality, well-crafted item. My original shop offers that option. As I have improved my craft and invested in more premium beads, I have also had more requests for sterling silver items. Because of the high cost of the silver (vs silver plated), I only buy when I can. The second shop, Ocean Breeze Design is primarily sterling silver. I have also enjoyed making special order mother’s and grandmother’s necklaces and bracelets. They are all made with Swarovski crystals and sterling silver chains and wire.”

I love Linda’s work – I have one of her bracelets, and I gave one of her bookmarks as a Christmas gift – now I need to get one for myself.  I love her “October Splendor” and “Forest In Spring” series, and the Opaque Antique Green Melon Bead Bracelet, but it’s really too hard to choose just one favorite piece.

I LOVE Linda’s jewelry.  In fact, I have a necklace waiting here to gove to my mom for her birthday.  And I’m sad to give it up.

I love these earrings of hers.  http://www.etsy.com/listing/70567811/lapis-blue-and-aqua-earrings-with

My favorite right this minute is the Bronze on Bronze earrings.  It was hard to pin it down to one item.

  • Kristi Wilson

Honestly, it’s impossible for me to pick one piece in Linda’s store that is my favorite. Her color choices are so rich and varied!  In my current mood, though, the “Harbor Blue” series would be top of the list.  She pulls the most full colors from nature and blends them into lovely little works of art.

  • Lisa Lowe

I like the Forest in spring series!  thanks for the chance to win!!
